I’m going to show you how to add the VaporFi Node NFTs to your MetaMask wallet on your phone.
Before we begin, make sure to back up your secret phrases. Shortly after I added my 6th MetaMask made me reinstall the app.
The steps to add VaporFi Node NFTs to MetaMask are:
- Go to Snowtrace.
- Search for your wallet
- Find NFTs in the token box
- Identify VNODE Characteristics
- Go into MetaMask NFT tab
- Import NFT
- View NFT
Step 1. Go To Snowtrace
You’ll want to go to:
It’s the preferred blockchain explorer for the Avalanche Network. The screen will look like the one below.
Step 2. Go to your wallet.
You’ll want to copy and paste your wallet into the search bar. Then push the magnifying glass icon. Once you do it will take you to a screen like below.
Step 3: Find NFTs in the Token Box
In the token box you will find a full list of your tokesns and NFTs. The NFTs are referred to as ERC-721 Tokens. It will look like the picture below.
Click on the one that says VaporNodes (VNODE). It will take you to a page that shows all you VNODE NFTs.
Step 4. Identify VNODE NFT characteristics.
There are two important numbers you will need to add each of your NFTs to MetaMask:
- The Contract Number: 0x0efC8Ef83d7318121449e9c5dbDF7135Bcc1fA90. You can view it here to verify: https://snowtrace.io/token/0x0efc8ef83d7318121449e9c5dbdf7135bcc1fa90
- The Token ID: A number between 0 and 43590 (each number is different)
This is what my screen looks like. Yours will have different numbers.
Step 5. Go into MetaMask Wallet NFT Tab
You’ll need to be in the NFT tab of the MetaMask wallet which will look like the screen below.
Step 6. Import NFT
Click on Import NFT and it will ask for the address and Token ID. Once you fill in your values from step 4, click import.
Step 7. View your NFT
You’ll then be able to view them directly from the browser.
It doesn’t currently show stats, but you can view the logo. Don’t try to send them because the functionality may not be built in yet.
How to view VaporFi Node NFTs on Desktop
Go to the Metamask Portfolio:
It should look like the picture below depending on how many you have.
Mine are already in there, but if yours are not, you can add them by following the directions on Metamask’s FAQ section.
